Join our gorgeous local Turkish tour guide, Sevval, in discovering the vibrant Sydney’s Turkish community.
What says Istanbul more than traditional Turkish coffee and some delicious Turkish baklava, which is packed full of pistachios. We meander through the streets of Auburn, discovering the local shops and diverse community.
We visit the Turkish bakehouse, enjoying some freshly baked simit, which is a sesame bagel, and the local Turkish supermarket where we try so many imported, Turkish cheeses, pastirma, dips, the most incredible fruit jams, local wood fire oven Turkish pizza, and we always offer vegetarian options.
We proudly offer intimate food experiences with local guides, in small groups, whilst supporting local communities and family-owned businesses. We are real people, with real stories.
TOUR INCLUSIONS
• Four-hour walking tour, exploring Turkish Auburn.
• We begin our tour learning the history of the region and enjoying traditional Turkish coffee.
• Experience some delicious local treats like Kazandibi, a caramelised milk pudding.
• Concluding with a traditional Turkish lunch with traditional baked pide. We cater to special diets.

Auburn is a 1-hour train ride from Central Station or a 40-minute drive from Central.
WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable walking shoes, water bottle, hat and sunscreen, and a shopping bag. Cash is recommended, as some places only accept currency.
