Mia Cucina Food Tours and Maps is committed to providing accessible and inclusive food tour experiences for all guests. We strive to make our tours enjoyable and comfortable for people of all abilities, including those with mobility, sensory, cognitive, or other disabilities.
Mobility:
We understand that some guests may have mobility requirements. Our tours are designed with accessible routes and stops wherever possible, and we offer assistance with walking, navigating stairs, and entering venues. We can also accommodate the use of wheelchairs and other mobility aids.
Sensory:
We are mindful of sensory sensitivities. We can provide advance notice of potential loud environments or strong smells, and we can offer alternative tasting options or quieter areas during the tour.
Cognitive:
We can offer simplified explanations of the tour itinerary and food descriptions, as well as breaks to allow for processing information. We also encourage guests to let us know their specific needs in advance so we can prepare accordingly.
Communication:
Our tour guides are trained to communicate effectively with people of all abilities, and we can provide support for language or communication needs, including written materials, sign language interpretation, or assistive technology.
Other:
We can also accommodate other accessibility needs, such as providing quiet spaces, offering dietary modifications, or making other reasonable adjustments.
Limitations:
Some venues may have limited accessibility, such as stairs or narrow doorways. We will always provide advance notice of these limitations and work with guests to find alternative solutions.
We may not be able to accommodate all requests, but we will do our best to find reasonable solutions for guests with specific accessibility needs.
